Understanding your issue is one of the first steps to writing any type of research paper.
Are you derailing productivity? - Business Management Daily
Remember that each post must include: 

  • Two properly cited academic sources (Cite within the text and also in the Works Cited section at the bottom of your blog. Include the url.)
  • 300-500 words
  • An image (In this blog that will probably be a chart.)
You are being graded on:
  • The depth of your research (the reader should learn from your blog)
  • Level of professionalism (grammar and spelling, word choice, etc.)

This blog from a few years ago has a post that talks about the dropout rate for black and Latino youth that can serve as an example.

Documentary/Book/Podcast - Due 2/21

This week we will be stepping away from the written word and researching by watching a documentary, book or podcast about your topic. As you are selecting your medium to watch/listen to be sure that it is from a legitimate source and that the research is fact-based vs. a novel or something produced for pure entertainment. Cite your source at the bottom of your blog. On 2/21 I will begin grading all of the blogs.

Background Blog - Due 1/17
